When an admin resets your password, the app uses a shared recovery key (only admins have access to it) to unlock your private key, then re-encrypts it with your new temporary password. You will be asked to change it on your next login. Only a logged-in admin can do this — if every admin forgets their password at the same time, the recovery chain breaks.
